GolfMark specialises in one-to-one training of individuals in custom club fitting, club assembly and club repairs/alterations. 10 years of courses has seen some 80+ students pass through the workshop – some have established their own businesses whilst others simply make clubs for themselves.
COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS – a handicap of 12 or better is normally required. Experience has shown that golfers with higher handicaps lack sufficient knowledge of the golf swing to become effective at clubfitting.
CLUBFITTING (1 day) - you will be taken step-by-step through the clubfitting process which will fully equip you to custom club fit as described on the "Clubfitting Sylabus" page.
CLUB REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS AND ASSEMBLY (1 day) - full details of the course content are listed on the Clubfitting Syllabus page
On completion of each course students receive a Course Completion Certificate.
COURSE TUTOR - your tutor is Hugh Townend. Hugh is both a professional clubfitter/maker and a qualified golf teacher.
HOW TO APPLY – “one to one” courses have been found to be the most popular but courses can be tailored for up to 2 persons, if required. Dates can be arranged to suit.
COURSE FEES - £200 for a two day “one-to-one” course. £110 for a 1-day course, if you only wish to cover one of the subjects.
